It's amazing how fast a slap of depression can come. Discussions of Pride, where I never felt welcome in Seattle (it's really feels odd to me that California is more fat friendly than Seattle. Or at least, that has been my perception), and worries about actually having been tossed over for someone else seems to be responsible this time. It's pretty crap to feel like someone chose (and you lost), even though you didn't ask. Maybe the other person did? I don't know. It's all probably just poor communication, gods know that's been happening in spades. I'm just as guilty as anyone else.

The fever has broken.

I have a problem for my more technically oriented friends.

I'm using Office Outlook 2003 on two machines (laptop and desktop) and both are running XP. I have two email accounts (google & maddjinn.com) set up with POP3. I have the laptop configuration set to not delete messages from the mail server upon download, but I'm not seeing messages I downloaded to the laptop when I go and receive mail on the desktop later. It is true for both accounts.

And I suppose just use webmail is an answer, but not one I particularly like. I also want to bring my smartphone into the loop, too, but I want to get this working first.
